We simply adore this 50s novelty border skirt...the detailing is unbelievable!  Medium-weight brown cotton.  Semi-full, pleated silhouette.  Jamaican island scenes with people, road signs, etc.  A stunning collage created with a combination of complicated applique and detailed embroidery with additions of 3-D materials, such as straw in the brooms, braided hair, and handkerchiefs.  Closes with a metal zipper and a tab snap.
